Grocery

National Cuisine is the same as Greek one, seafood is the most common altogether with all kinds of fish served in different ways. Salads and cheese, mostly sheep and goat cheese, are a common side dish. It is not recommended to drink tap water.

Healthcare

First aid and emergency treatment are free of charge. It is not recommended to travel to Cyprus without the European Health Insurance Card (EHIC), whereas the possible medical treatment/hospitalisation in public hospitals would have to be paid privately and the fees for medical aid are pretty high. Slovak authorities recommend to arrange commercial insurance in the Slovak Republic before travelling to Cyprus.

Offices, banks, exchange offices, post offices: usually work in the morning only during working days; shops: every day, morning and afternoon (except lunch siesta)
